Building Healthy Communities - It Starts With YOU!

Our Vision is "a strong and resilient community".
Our mandate is to provide leadership and support to assist those who live, work or play in Belcarra, Anmore, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody to identify and address community issues. We encourage and support participation in our community by bringing pople together to connect, collaborate and celebrate. 
We aim to increase awareness of local resources, focus on specific neighbourhood actions, and build the capacity of our citizens to actively identify and act upon local issues.

Spirit of Community Awards

This celebration is an opportunity to honour individuals who are community builders and appreciate individuals who mentor and model actions that create healthy communities.

The Spirit of Community Awards is held in recognition of members of the community who have proven their outstanding commitment to various aspects of the community. After nine successful years of presenting SOCA to the Tri Cities, SCD is inviting community partners and friends to help us redesign the event. Please contact SCD to express your interest.

Community Heroes

Do you have a special neighbour, know a person who volunteers for the good of others, or a community group that is always true to its mission but never recognized?
