The 2009 Taste of the Tri-Cities was a huge offering, making the gala event once again one of the largest and well-attended in our community. Wine, beer, food, jazz and networking melded September 15th when the Taste of the Tri-Cities made its second appearance at the Red Robinson Show Theatre. Historically hosted by the Society for Community Development, the 11th annual fundraiser again merged with the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce’s Wine and Jazz Festival to tempt the taste buds of food and wine lovers while offering community members and business owners the chance to mix, mingle and network. The evening included exhibits from restaurants, bars, businesses and non-profit organizations within the Tri-Cities such as Me and Ed’s Pizza, Eclipse Bar and Grille, Wolf Blass Wines, Costco and Evergreen Cultural Centre to name a few.

The 2008 Taste of the Tri-Cities was a huge offering, making the event one of the largest and well-attended in our community.  More than 700 guests enjoyed food and wine samples while mingling and visiting the over 70 booths.  It would be impossible to single out a specific highlight but some of the treats included fresh oysters, delicious pizzas, succulent goat cheese cheesecake and low fat caramel liqueur… eclectic, exotic and tantalizing.
