Geoff Scott

A strong and determined advocate for community television, Geoff Scott has been the driving force behind community-based television in the Tri-Cities since 1998 closure of Roger’s ‘Volunteer Television’ production program.

Over the past three years, Geoff has volunteered more than 1000 hours to produce the Tri-Cities News Magazine, a weekly half-hour program now airing on Shaw TV, which acts as a conduit for presenting local issues and events to the wider community.

Through his vision, determination and dedication, Geoff hopes to create a permanent, non-profit society which will give people local access to community television with the emphasis on local expression which accurately reflects the vibrancy and strength of our community.
